    Smartie ...

Post by Poggy on 23/1/2016, 13:09

    ...how is Mr Thomas now?

I keep meaning to ask if he has calmed his passionate side down?

He seemed to settle in so quickly and well with you, bless him.

Oh - and another photo is always much appreciated!! smile

Oops, that's huge! That's him looking smug on my knee the other evening!

He's doing well thanks for asking Pogs. Although he is still quite amorous towards me unfortunately! I just either pick him up (that annoys him so he stops) or put him on the floor.

He's started to play a bit this week, before that he just wouldn't so I'm taking that as a good sign that he is relaxing even more. He's such a sweetie bar the sharp claws and humping!!

Ha! Oh Yes - the cat that got the cream!! Vair smug - and handsome!

I suppose he will just learn, over time, that he is not to start with the humping or mummy ignores him. Persistence, I suppose!

I love his white eyebrows and whiskers!

I'm not confident he'll learn as he is extremely persistent and as soon as I put him on the floor he'll jump straight back up and try again, and repeat X 10!! He gets quite ratty when I stop him but I'm just going to keep doing that and hope for it to stop!!

He's going out to the garden a bit more too, although he's intimidated by next doors cat. He is young and huge though, Thomas is as big but obviously much older. He did get into a face off with another strange cat the other week so he's definitely feeling territorial!

Perhaps when he can expend more energy running about in the garden in the spring/summer, he will have less energy for humping!!
