There are too many box sets and I haven't seen any of them and the whole thing just makes me feel vaguely anxious.

3 - 3 is a good number of episodes in a series. With 1 series every 2 years or so. That's the kind of prestige tv viewing I can keep on top of.

Seriously - started watching a promising (I mean totally trashy but my kind of trashy) series on Netflix, really enjoying it, had a quick scroll to see how many episodes, there's about 8 series of approximately 300 episodes each, stopped watching immediately because it suddenly seemed exhausting.

I don't really like films. I mean I like some, but a lot less than you'd think. I've only just accepted this about myself and stopped trying to be a person that likes films.

Also coffee, although I wish I did.

And speaking on the phone, I'd be happy if I never had to use a phone for talking ever again in my life.

I'm totally the opposite - I love finding a new series with like eight seasons, I hate short seasons, and I hate having to wait a week to watch next episodes. I'm a binge watcher!

I can't be bothered with box sets either and I'm too technically incompetent/lazy to download, stream or whatever.

I don't hate it, but I don't see the point of tea, it's such a nothing drink and I only touch it if really badly hungover/dehydrated.

There's not much I don't like food-wise usually. I don't like raw tomato served with cold food (salad or in a sandwich).

I don't like Pandora bracelets or ugg boots (slag wellies).

I don't like gin, apart from pink gin.

I also don't like things I'm supposed to or told to like, such as big crazes, e.g Harry Potter, Twiglight, 500 shades etc.

I also find rating supposedly "hot men" really embarrassing and dodgy. I'm in a bumps and babies group and they're forever posting pics of some rippled torsoed man and going, "phwoar" etc and it just makes me feel all squirmy and old maidish Embarassed I know this makes me sound like a right weirdo prude!

I'm not a big fan of wine but can tolerate red or prosecco *just* I absolutely detest beer or any form of lager type drink though.

Like Bomba I also hate the things I'm supposed to like, such as big crazes, e.g Harry Potter, Twiglight, 500 shades etc.

Foodwise I will not eat seafood, mussels etc, olives, marzipan, steak pie, most types of cake, curry, overly spicy food, anything containing coriander, peas. Oh and I don't like chips. I'm not fussy lol.

Babies I don't like, they give me the creeps, and I have a phobia of ultrasound baby scan pictures (neens I really hoped you'd warned me!, happy for you and all but Urrrrgh *boak* I did not want to see that scan image hahaha!)

dogs and cats are ok at a distance but I would not have one as a pet.

I dont like Ugg boots lol at slag wellies neens! or jewellery of pretty much any kind, but especially dislike jewellery that goes through a part of a persons body, like earrings, or nose rings. I don't wear jewellery.

I have a real revulsion for tattoos, I have never ever seen a tattoo on a person and thought, 'oh that looks nice' I have almost always thought 'urgh, why would you do that to yourself???'

    I also hate badgers.

Still in shock that people on here confess to not liking wine and cheese!!!!!!! faint

I hate coffee...I have *tried* so hard to like it over the years, but Nope - not happening!

I am not a big film watcher. It has to be something very good and interesting to hold my interest.
I don't mind going to the cinema now and again, but I don't go much.

I really, really, really do not like these drawn on eyebrows at the moment. I cannot understand *why* you would want to look so fake. I loved the ones that you had done Neens, because they are made to look natural. When ever I talk to or am served by anyone with these 'clown' eyebrows, then I have to try so hard not to stare at them!!!!!

Iphones (other mobile phones are available lol and this will probably make me deeply unpopular), but I am simply not impressed/interested by them at all. I have got to the age of 48 without needing information at my fingertips instantaneously, and they bloody annoy me the way that so many people have to have one permanently welded to their hands. And I cannot *tolerate* seeing people out quote socialising quote but they are not even talking to the friends/family they are with.
I think it is so rude and if anyone looks at their phone when I am in the middle of a conversation with me, then I just go silent until I have their attention again.
Luckily - the majority of my friends have manners!

Fair enough, Juggs, each to their own, but to be fair to Neens, she had posted her scan pic in the pg and birth forum so there's a good chance her post would be about her new baby Neena & would possibly contain an ultrasound image ner ner So I'm not sure why, if you don't like babbas, you opened the thread?

Bomb, I didn't see which forum it was in TBH as I only use the 'latest posts' bit but even then an announcement that mini neens was on the way would have been ideal for me, didn't expect a picture. Not trying to be rude to neens in any way, i just didnt expect it and scan pictures really freak me out. Hate it when people post them on facebook like selfies as it's really quite a phobia of mine.
Happy for people to have babies, I just don't like looking at them, especially not in germination stage lol.

    ETA still, congratulations neens. great

    Good work all.

I agree on eyebrows - the unnatural looking sort. Some women look like someone's cut out a badly-shaped stencil and pasted creosote on it.

Also agree on Pandora bracelets-I don't like anything beady or pearly.

I'm with Bomb too on the hunky men thing. Of course we all will have people we find attractive; and there's nothing wrong with commenting about that. But when women behave like leery men, phwoar-ing at photos of muscly specimens, I feel uncomfortable - like they are bringing themselves down to the level of those leery blokes. Actually I think a lot of women are probably uncomfortable with it but join in because they don't want to be seen as prudish or unfashionable.

Rap. It's crap. And for heaven's sake isn't it time music moved on? Where's the innovation?

DJs as superstars. It's someone else's music mate.

I nearly added poodles to my list, but they probably don't qualify as *popular items*, which is the point of the thread. So I won't. I gave Bomb a special dispensation though, did you notice?

Anyway, where's Kitteh? She'd have a good list.

I wish I didn't like wine or cheese! I would be much slimmer!!

I can't stand bananas, just the smell of them makes me gag (I have actually thrown up just from the smell before) don't know why I just hate it sick

I don't really get the Pandora bracelet thing either, I think they're kind of tacky *runs and hides* Sorry to anyone who likes them!

I don't get Pandora bracelets, Ugg boots or the drawn on eyebrows, there is a young girl who works in the local bakery and she shaves her eyebrows off and draws them on an inch higher than her natural brow, but her natural brow is often very stubbly and poking through a thick layer of foundation, it is awful but she's a few sandwiches short of a picnic anyway as I went in late in the day and brought my husband a cream cake, (I really don't like cream and don't get the love for it dunno ) and she couldn't understand that I only wanted one cake as they were buy one get one free, she even went off to speak to the manager as she just couldn't get her head round someone not wanting a free cake lol

I also hate dishwashers as it makes everything squeaky, I also don't like the thought of jacuzzi's or hot tubs *shudder* it's just people soup *shudder* I also couldn't imagine anything worse than a proper massage, letting someone knead my naked flesh shake head

I don't like vodka or any spirits really, I've never read or seen a Harry Potter book/movie, same goes for Lord of the rings.

I can't cope with salad in sandwiches except for under very precise (but non-sensical) rules, in fact, I have quite a lot of food 'rules' though there's not much I don't like

You cheese haterz are weirdos but that's fine, all the more for me Lick

Oooh...yeah Greyhare - good one! Dishwashers ...horrible things!
Like you say, they make things squeaky and feel really icky, and, if they are not rinsing properly, they taste salty.

And you have reminded me that I just don't 'get' spa days that other women seem to rave about.
I went once with a friend (it was a present that her boyfriend gave her) and I just felt really uncomfy wandering up and down in a dressing gown and slippers...oh and eating lunch in public in said attire! faint I had grease all in my hair from a face massage and looked so awful and hated the other massage. The best bit was the swimming pool!
