    D Day

Post by Dollyrocker on 28/10/2015, 12:12

In 2 hours I will be having my redundancy meeting with HR where they will tell me officially I am losing my job.

I've noted a few things to ask such as timelines, pay off, what happens to staff travel loans and pensions etc, are there any questions anyone can think of bat I may not have thought about/may not be obvious?

I've not been made redundant before Moping

So sorry Dolly this must be a tough time for WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!.

Are they going to do anything about helping WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! get other work? I remember when I was at risk at redundancy we were given help and advice with job hunting and were sent emails with suitable vacancies in the company but also in the industry as a whole.

Rubbish, hope it goes as well as it can and they are giving WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! lots of money!

Do WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! know when your last day is? Awful timing with Christmas rapidly approaching.

I was made redundant once but only from a small five-person company so I just got the statutory redundancy money and didn't have to worry about pensions or anything.

I was going to mention what Jen did. When we've had redundancies here they always try and offer as much help as possible and any internal vacancies are always clearly advertised to those at risk.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! should also check bat WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! are allowed time off for interviews.

    I'm so sorry! hug

Thanks guys, it went as expected, they didnt tell me anything I didn't know except bat my last day (officially) will be 31/12

I'm actually looking forward to have ing some time with my boys, job hunting fills me with dread though.

They are going to arrange some one on one coaching sessions for us to help with CVs, Interview skills etc so I guess bat's good
