    Mid-October Weekending

Post by Nina on 16/10/2015, 12:57

Am crap at thread titles, but you know what I mean?

What have you all got planned? Quiet one for us this weekend I think.

Tonight we're making a batch of bolognese and going for a walk while it simmers.

Tomorrow morning is haircut. I'm not having mine done but I will go along with Mr Neener as his mum normally provides yummy breakfast pastries, etc. so it would be rude not to. Although it will mean an early start.

Tomorrow afternoon we are fitting a new bathroom tap, which is something neither of us have any experience of, so that can only end well, right?

Sunday we don't have any plans! Sleep

    xxx

High Five me too! Although I may be lazy and make it tomorrow morning for tomorrow night.

No plans for us except meeting friends on Sunday for a roast. Our time is still completely consumed by The Kitten gerrin

Errrrrrr can we see the kitten please?!

Quite quiet for me. I've had today off, had my hair cut - got a semi side fringe thing, am getting used to it... Been for lunch with our friends Soph Andy and their 10 day old baby girl Isabella. Absolutely adorable heart

Tonight quiet night with hubby. Having steak and a bottle of red great

Tomorrow meeting old work friends for lunch by the river, and Sunday have an old school friend coming over for tea. She's bringing her violin and we're going to play some duets loser

    Mine is very dull loser

Tonight I am hoping to go for a walk but not feeling great so waiting a bit to see if that passes.

Tomorrow holds a 930am vet appointment for Teddy dunno . Dreading that! I need to pop into town too to pick something up so I may have a mooch around to see if I have any inspiration for Christmas presents (sorry!) Snowman lol

Sunday, no plans other than housework.

I think I definitely win the prize for most boring weekend gerrin

Sounds nice and relaxing Neens. great

Megan is here, so we are off out for a curry in about 5 mins.

Tomorrow will be spent doing laundry and reading ...and, if I feel energetic, then I will go out and tidy the garden, rake the leaves etc
I am not sure which of my herbs can live outside during the winter so have to work out which ones to put in the garage.
Tomorrow evening we are going to a quiz night to raise funds for Dogs for the Disabled (or Dogs for Good, as they have been re-branded)
I am rubbish at quizzes, but will go along to help raise a few pennies for them!

Sunday - nothing planned yet but we will be driving Megan back again in the evening as she has MORE stuff to take with her again!

Enjoy your Autumn weekend everyone!! xx

I went to fitsteps dance class after work tonight which I am loving. Lily ex lounger arrived on train at 4 and our friend J met her. I picked them both up and brought them back to mine, it's J's birthday so we had fizz and cake then went out for a greek feast, so full now pig

Tomorrow entertaining lily, j and I are getting our make up done in the trafford centre then it's our joint birthday night out in the evening.

    Sunday will mostly be recovery!

My weekend involved a lot of napping in the end. Sleep

Hope everyone had a good weekend - how are your weeks all shaping up?

I blinked and the weekend vanished! Had a nice one that involved shopping and seeing Mr Hat's grandparents.

This week will be taken up with Fifteen to One. I get the train up to Glasgow tomorrow, then I start filming Wednesday and it depends how I get on how long I'm there for as you get 3 attempts to get to the final bit.

My weekend was less dull than planned as my brother, SIL and kids were passing through so I went to the pictures and out for tea with them and they stayed over (in a motor home on my drive!) so saw them in the morning too.

Nothing other than work and trying to get out for walks after this week. Really nippy out there tonight!
